Winter weather advisory issued for North Idaho

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a winter weather advisory for North Idaho and northeast Washington for snow and slick driving conditions, in effect from 10 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Sunday.

Total snow accumulations of three to six inches in the valleys and six to 10 inches in the mountains are possible.

Travel could be very difficult, and motorists are advised to slow down and increase following distance.
