“Forever Idaho is not just a grant program—it’s a movement of philanthropy that is building a culture of giving across our state,” said Lisa Bearg, Senior Philanthropic Advisor of ICF. “The generosity of our donors and the hard work of these nonprofits are what make Idaho such a special place. Together, we are ensuring that our communities continue to thrive.
The grant recipients were carefully selected by ICF’s Regional Council for North Idaho, a group of dedicated volunteer community members from the region. These individuals are chosen for their deep understanding of local needs, leadership, and involvement in the social sector. The council reviews grant applications with a keen eye for how each project aligns with the unique needs of North Idaho communities, ensuring that the funds are distributed in ways that will create lasting and meaningful impact. Final grant awards are approved by ICF’s Board of Directors, making the process both community-driven and thoughtfully executed.
Boundary County awards went to:
- Boundary Community Hospital – $6,000 to support health and wellness.
- Boundary County Youth Crisis and Domestic Violence Hotline – $2,593 for community benefit services.
- Explore 4-H Afterschool Fun – $6,000 for educational and economic opportunities.
- Gardeners for Regional Organic Wellbeing – $2,500 to support health and wellness.
