Evelyn was born in Venice, California. She grew up living in the country, riding horses and bucking hay. She had a strong work ethic.
She married Jack Stallings on July 10, 1943, and had three boys, Roy, David and Dan.
Evelyn loved gardening! She also enjoyed quilting and cooking. She made beautiful quilts. She enjoyed making jam and fried apple turnovers.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Roy Stallings, Moyie Springs, and David Stallings, Bora Bora, grandchildren David Stallings, Idaho Falls, Jeffrey Stallings and Jason Stallings, both of Tahiti, Mike Des Rosiers and Michelle Bremer, both of Moyie Springs, and David Des Rosiers of Alaska, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
