The Boundary County Fair started in 1920. For 105 years now, each year, admission to the fair has been free to all. While there are things that must be paid for such as food and the occasional game, admission and viewing the booths, displays and fair entries are complementary. To keep this tradition alive and well, the fair board needs your help.
There are eleven barns in desperate need of repairs, and this is your opportunity to stand in the gap.
Many of the barns have not had the roofs replaced in nearly 75 years not to mention other necessary upgrades and maintenance.
The Boundary County Fair board is excited to introduce the new Barn Sponsorship opportunity. For $2,500 annually for five years, you can sponsor a barn of your choice at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. Your name or business name will be prominently displayed at both entrances of the barn for the duration of the five-year sponsorship. This sponsorship will help make necessary repairs and upgrades to each barn, ensuring they remain in excellent condition for future events.
The following barns are available for sponsorship:
- Beef Barn
Swine Barn- Horse Barn South
- Horse Barn North
- FFA Barn
- Poultry Barn,
- Goat/Rabbit Barn
- Sheep Barn
- Wells Building
- Exhibit Hall (x2 opportunities),
- Indoor Arena
If you are interested in sponsoring a barn please contact the fair manager, Jaycee Atkins at (208)304-0344 or http://bcfairmanager@boundarycountyid.org.
