The Bonners Ferry Cheer team traveled to Timberlake high School this weekend to participate in the Timberlake Tiger Tournament.
With months of work behind them and the outstanding instruction from their coaches, they were among the top at the tournament this weekend.
They brought home hardware for first place in their pom routine, first place in show, second in sideline and Grand Champions for the tournament!
“The Bonners Ferry High School Cheer Team is on their way to Districts this Saturday, February 15th at Coeur d’Alene High School. Previously, Bonners Ferry High School cheer has taken first place with their show routine in all three competitions and grand champion at the Lake City Wolves Winter Challenge and yesterday’s Timberlake Tiger Tournament.
The Bonners Ferry High School Cheer Team has had a very full year, working to not only learn three evolving routines for their own competitions, but also ensuring support for all other Bonners Ferry High School athletes. Maintaining good grades, showing up for school and practice every day and long grueling practice times are simple ways that these athletes demonstrate their dedication to this sport!
As coaches, we are so proud of their determination, dedication and willingness to do whatever it takes to attain their goal of placing at state this year! We would love to see Bonners Ferry show up and support our Cheer Team as they dedicate so much time to support other Bonners Ferry High School athletes!” Coaches Teri, Hailey Jessica and Nichole
Come out this Saturday to show your support at the district tournament! Doors open at 8:35 a.m.
