Deep Creek boat launch closure extended through Memorial Day

The closure of the Deep Creek Boat Launch has been extended through May 28 due to delays in obtaining the construction materials needed. Consequently, the boat launch at the Deep Creek confluence with the Kootenai River will be closed over the Memorial Day weekend.

However, the boat launch at the Search & Rescue headquarters on Riverside Street about three miles upriver is open for public use.
