Football season is upon us, and the Badger football team is gearing up for the 2025 season.
The weight room at Bonners Ferry High School is open on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and there is football open field work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. until July 31. All high school football players whether you’ve been playing for years or whether you are new to the program are welcome.
The first practice will be August 11 at 4:30 p.m. at Bonners Ferry High School football field. Sports physicals are required for all 9th and 11th graders as well as any new incoming athletes. Players must have 10 practices before being able to participate in a game and there will only be 11 opportunities to fulfill the requirement making starting from the beginning very important.
Currently there are Varsity, Junior Varsity and C team schedules on the books. The first Junior Varsity and Varsity games will be on Saturday, August 23 at Lakeland High School in Rathdrum, Idaho.
