Help Destiny purchase an electric tricycle

This is Destiny. Destiny was born with Down’s Syndrome, but she does not let that define her. She is brave, loving, spunky, wears her heart on her sleeve and isn’t afraid to tell you what she thinks. She is a junior at Bonners Ferry High School and loves being a Badger. This girl has participated in cheerleading and dance and has just signed up to participate in the Special Olympics.

Since Destiny has been in high school it has become increasingly difficult for her to be active due to some balance issues. Destiny has a deep desire to belong and to participate in activities like her peers. There have been bicycle trips that she has had the opportunity to participate in, but with the balance and length of the trips, it has made it impossible for her to attend.

Destiny and her mom, Flora have done some research and have decided that an electric tricycle would be the best option for Destiny to help her journey; but this comes with a

pretty big price tag, and they are humbly asking for the help of their community.

An e-tricycle will cost anywhere from $800 to $5000 and the one they have found to be just the right fit for Destiny is right at $2500.
