Update on Sean Comer

UPDATE:

July 31, 2025, and there was a good report from the family and fast forward to today, October 7, 2025, it has been reported to us by Sean’s fiancé Leslie, that Sean has been placed in the Hospice House. Sean has developed pneumonia, and the doctors are not expecting him to recover.

On June 19, Sean Comer suffered a massive stroke. He was life flighted to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene where he is in the fight for his life. Physicians have told his fiancé, Leslie Stiles, that the prognosis is poor, so she is asking for the community, friends, family and everyone else, to pray.

Fast forward to July 31, 2025, and we have good news!

“Went and visited with Sean today.” Leslie says, “He had a good day today…He seems to be breathing fine on his own and he was very alert today. He will talk once his throat heals up some I fully believe that but it’s still super raw his tube was just removed yesterday. He said yes when I asked if he thinks he’ll be able to talk and “yes” he’s going to get better. He did a lot of moaning of word sounds like when I said ‘I love you’ he did the sound back. If Sean continues breathing good on his own, he will be able to be moved, I believe next Tuesday, to Life Care in Sandpoint which is only 30 minutes from our house. And I have an interview there for a housekeeping aide job on Monday so prayers that I get it and will be able to see Sean every day I work! So please continue to pray for our family for a better road ahead! Thank you everyone for all your love and support it really means a lot and has helped out tremendously!”
