Bonners Ferry Badger senior Ethan Cowell was at the head of the pack this weekend finishing in at 18:43 at the Bonners Ferry Cross Country Invitational. Five schools with 52 athletes were present including your own Bonners Ferry, Newport, Kellogg, Priest River and Kootenai.
Junior, Shadrack Crewell of Kellogg finished in second place at 19:07 and Bonners Ferry Freshman, Jonathan Bollschweiler finishing in third at 19:18.
Aimee Busby and Olivia Collins, both Sophomores at Newport High School placed first and second for the ladies with times of 21:14 for Aimee and 21:29 for Olivia. Badger, Sophomore Kylie Calderone placed third with a time of 21:42.
The Badger’s next meet will be at Priest River High School on Saturday, September 27 with time to be determined.
