Missing twin girls

Update from Sheriff Stolley –

A message from Sheriff Stolley:
We are once again asking the community to be on the lookout for these young twin girls. Last seen around 12:00 yesterday, September 19, 2025. An attempt to locate has been sent out to surrounding areas.
We believe them to be in light blue sweatshirts but with the heat of the day, they may not be wearing them.
Last know location was Grouse Hill Rd.
We had a report of suspicious activity in the area of Foust Road last night that we believe may be related to the girls.
They are once again actively hiding from our teams who have been looking for them for the last 24 hours.
Resources used so far have been a Boundary County SAR K9, Boundary County Sheriff’s Office drones and active foot and mobile patrols canvassing the area.
If you live in the following areas, we are asking you to be especially aware and check any outbuildings, campers, vehicles etc.
  • Grouse Hill Road
  • Meadow Creek Road
  • Roosevelt Road
  • Blume Hill Road
  • Oxford Loop Road
  • Homestead Loop Road
The priority is to locate the girls safe and then focus on a long term solution to keep them safe.
A couple side notes to address the very important concerns many have expressed.
We have the safety of the girls as a priority when investigating and handling these situations.
I can say with certainty that our deputies and investigators have been working with the family and the appropriate resources to make sure the safety of the children is taken care of long term.
I understand the frustration and concerns, we share them.
-Sheriff Stolley-

At 12:04 p.m. on Friday, September 19, Kiya and Arianna Eliassen ran away from their uncle’s home on Grouse Hill Road. They were last seen wearing blue sweatshirts, leopard print pants and cowboy boots.

  1. Exactly how many more times will this happen before the State of Idaho puts these children in a secure facility. Do we have children’s services in this county? How many searches, and how much money, has the county spent so far? Obviously the family cannot handle the situation. They must be placed in a secure facility.

    1. Many on FB are saying the father and step-mother have an alcohol problem. It was also said that the father received a DUI when the children were in the car. It’s felt they are running away repeated to escape this situation and CPS keeps giving them back. That is all hearsay on FB, some of it from the maternal grandmother (bio mom died in an auto accident 7 years ago.) https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=24601568149481837&set=p.24601568149481837 and this one: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=24601569182815067&set=p.24601569182815067&type=3

  2. Theses girls and their family need professional help while the girls are kept in a secure facility for their own safety. I don’t believe sharing FaceBook rumors and gossip will aid anyone but those interested in internet’s BS.
