A New Pumpkin Patch Brings Fall Fun to the Kootenai Valley!

This October, the Kootenai Valley will welcome a brand-new community event – a pumpkin patch designed to bring families, neighbors, and visitors together for a season of fall fun.

The event was created to fill a need in the community for more family – friendly activities and will feature a little something for everyone, no matter their age.

From bouncy houses and tractor rides to cozy fire pits and cornhole games, the pumpkin patch promises a full lineup of activities to enjoy. Children can dig into a wheat sandbox, while families can take part in apple pressing on Saturday and even learn about how pumpkins are grown.

Local vendors will also play a big role in the celebration, offering everything from hot coffee and delicious food to unique shopping opportunities. The goal is to create an atmosphere where people can gather, support small businesses, and make lasting memories together.

Madison Morter and Cassie Olson say they are excited to bring this event to the Kootenai Valley and hope it becomes a tradition that families look forward to each fall. The Barn at Morter Farms is not just a pumpkin patch! The Barn at Morter Farms is also a venue for weddings, family reunions, and everything in between.

The Morter’s are looking forward to showcasing it as more than a seasonal attraction, but as a place where families and the community can gather year-round and have a great time. Make sure and visit with Madison at the pumpkin patch to book your next event!
