A notice from the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office – Please help the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office welcome Patrol Deputy E. Pittard who recently graduated from Idaho P.O.S.T academy (Peace Officer Standards and Training).
Deputy Pittard started with the Sheriff’s Office as a Detention Deputy prior to the calling of becoming patrol. He graduated from P.O.S.T for detention on January 9, 2023.
While learning many things during that journey he received the calling for more. On August 1, 2025, Deputy Pittard graduated from Idaho P.O.S.T academy for patrol.
His peers from that class also voted for him to receive the Tactical Edge Award.
The Tactical Edge Award is held as a deserving award through actions combined with who his fellow officers would want to have respond should they need assistance during the course of their duties.
