Dabbs second murder trail has commenced

Boundary County man accused of killing his wife and setting their Moyie Springs cabin on fire in 2020 will stand trial again this week in Boundary County after a mistrial was declared by Judge Lamont Berecz in 2023.

Jury selection and testimony began on Monday, October 6, 2025, and trial is expected to last two weeks.

Shannon P. Dabbs, 59, is charged with suspicion of second-degree murder and first-degree arson in the fatal shooting of Susan Dabbs.
