
The Badger Youth Football team was invited to participate in the in the Inland Northwest 8th Grade Football Playoffs this weekend in Spokane.
The Badgers played a successful season in the North Idaho Junior Tackle League and finished 2nd place with a record of 5-2 with the only loses being against the Lakeland Hawks in two close games.
Today on Dwight Merkel Field in Spokane, Washington, the Badgers took a big win against the Mt. Spokane Wildcats winning 30-0 and have been invited to compete at the Inland Northwest Championship at Eastern Washington University.
“It is an honor to play in this game as we will be the first team from Bonners Ferry invited to participate in these playoffs.” Coach Karl said, “After our dominating win today, Coach Kip and the team have been invited to compete at the Inland Northwest Championship on November 8 at Eastern Washington University.”
