Asher Williams, Bonners Ferry High School 2024 graduate and school record breaker made his collegiate debut this weekend as a Montana Tech Oredigger.
Williams was one of only five players and only freshman to score double digits in the first game of the season opener for the Orediggers.
With ten points in only eight minutes in his first game as a freshman, Asher turned heads and assisted the Orediggers in winning the nail-biting season opener 86-83 against Eastern Oregon.
The number 11 ranked Orediggers will take on the number 15 ranked Southern Oregon University Raiders on Thursday, October 30 at 4 p.m. Mountain Time, in Dillon, Montana at Straugh Stadium for their second game of the season.
