Bonners Ferry Wrestling Club brings over 600 fighters to town

Bonners Ferry Wrestling Club was honored to host the first tournament of the year for the North Idaho Wrestling League with over 600 hundred wrestlers competing. The Bonners Ferry wrestlers competed well with many wrestlers scoring points and winning matches.

“Awesome job by all,” Coach corey Richards said, “And thank you to all the volunteers to make this large event happen. Also, a huge thank you to The Badger Den for the home-made biscuits and gravy along with Misty Mountain Pizza for providing the pizza and keeping it fresh and hot, and Super One for the Doughnuts and the Hot dogs for our concessions, all was much appreciated.”

6U four and fivve year olds competing in the red and blue ribbon portion of the tournament get three matches, getting either a blue or red ribbon for each match, depending on how they perform. Local blue and red ribbon recipients are as follows:
