Dani Boltz is a licensed massage therapist, yoga instructor and retreat host based solely in Northwest Montana, until now. Dani decided it was time to combine her love of massage and her love of Bonners Ferry and bring Ripple Work Massage to Boundary County.
Dani’s ADA accessible studio is located at Alpine Glow Beauty Co. at 6378 Main Street, Suite B. She also practices at her home studio in Troy.
Dani has been a yoga instructor since 2012 and has always had a fascination with the body and the intricacies of the nervous system. Recently, her love of anatomy and natural healing spurred her on to attend an 800-hour intensive and comprehensive training in massage therapy at East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon.
Her education included in-depth coursework in kinesiology, anatomy and physiology, ethics, as well as other essential aspects of therapeutic practice.
Though her love of natural healing is what drove her to delve into massage therapy, Dani quickly realized that science plays more of a role in massage than she originally had thought. This realization pushed Dani to focus on her desire to fix the problem giving her a niche in functional massage in addition to restorative massage and craniosacral therapy.
“So much of what happens to us gets stored in the body and nervous system,” Dani says, “and by working directly with it through therapeutic touch and various practices, we can begin to unwind what has been stuck.”
Before coming to the northwest, Dani worked at North Portland Wellness Center, a pain clinic where she had the privilege of treating patients of all ages with a wide variety of health concerns, including injuries, arthritis and other ailments. Though she never thought that pain management was the field she would fall in love with, she did! That experience was invaluable and helped shape her passion for injury recovery and prevention.
When Dani is not in the studio, she spends her time in the garden and with her husband and dogs on their serene piece of heaven in Troy, Montana.
Dani is taking appointments for functional massage, restorative massage and craniosacral therapy in her Bonners Ferry studio two days a week. You can reach her by phone at (406) 334-4307 or on her website at Ripple Work Massage.
