Three Badgers selected ‘All-League’ in Volleyball

Three Badger volleyball players were selected to receive the coveted ‘All-League’ award for the 4A Intermountain League on Tuesday night.

The 2025 season brought a ranking of #16 in Idaho 4A rankings and were 2nd in the 4A Intermountain League. The Badgers were coached by head coach Cynthia Cummings and assistant coaches Paula Petesch and Shaina Gustafson.

Sophomore, Sammi Cummings received the All-League award for being an outside hitter for the Badgers. She was a first-year varsity player and co-captain with 74 kills, 147 digs and first in aces with 43 on the season.

Junior Eva Willis received the All-League award for middle blocker for the Badgers, was a second-year varsity player with 120 kills and 20 blocks on the season.

Freshman Jaycee Bateman received the All-League award for setter for the Badgers, was a first-year varsity player with 439 Assists, the second highest serving percentage on the season and over 1500 ball handling attempts.

The future is bright for Badger volleyball!
