Alexys Mierke was a force to be reckoned with this season on the soccer field. As a senior and mid-fielder, Alexys dominated for the Badgers. She led her team in assists and was top three in goals scored per match. She was named All-League MVP.

From a three-year-old pee-wee soccer player to the varsity athlete she is today, Alexys gives her all in everything she does whether it be at home, at school or on the field, she is all in. She was a varsity starter all four of her high school years and is talks with a few different colleges about going to the next level.

Alexys ended her high school soccer career with an award that is coveted by many athletes, All-Idaho. She was named the sole recipient of the Second Team, All-State Idaho award last week in Bonners Ferry. Idaho has over 700 high school lady soccer players and Mierke was among the top 20.

“We are bursting with pride,” her mom Kristen says, “She is such an amazing athlete and just an all-around amazing young woman with a huge heart and we are so excited to see where she goes next!”
