The 2nd Annual Share the Light of Christmas

The combined efforts of the Boundary County Veterans Services Office, In His Image Group, Community Action Partnership, Rotary Club of Bonners Ferry, Boundary County School District 101, and Mountain Springs Church will share the light of Christmas. The Share the Light event is open to North Idaho community members looking for a hand-up this holiday season.

Together as a singular event, the Boundary County Veterans Office will offer a present to each child with a chance to meet Santa Claus himself. At the same time, Mountain Springs Church will host the school district’s annual competition for distributing Hams & Turkeys, as well as Warm Coats & Boots from In His Image Group and Mountain Springs Church for fellowship and prayer offerings. Non-perishable food items made available by the Bonners Ferry Rotary team will be at Mountain Springs Church also.
Anyone interested in signing up for proper coats and boot sizes can do so at Community Action Partnership. All food items will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis – so no signup is required for food, just coats and boots.

Boundary County School District middle and high school students will be hosting a turkey and ham competition, Mountain Springs Church will be providing coats and boots to anyone in need, the Rotary Club of Bonners Ferry will be offering non-perishable food items and local carolers will be offering holiday cheer with festive caroling.
