The Bonners Ferry High School Wrestling Team hit the road to the Dick Griswold Memorial wrestling tournament in Potlatch last weekend took a fifth place finish out of 17 team with nine wrestlers competing and scoring 112.5 points.
The boys were led by senior Gaige Johnson and last year’s state runner-up 285-pound senior Taylor Dodd both finishing first.
In addition, freshman Mark Elliston took second place in his first high school tournament.
The Badger girls also competed and did an outstanding job, with both Aubree Graves and Kylie Calderone taking first and pinning all their opponents to take second place as a team.
