Windy conditions expected overnight Monday

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a wind advisory for Boundary and Bonner Counties an Pend Oreille County, Washington, in effect from 7 p.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Sustained southwest winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour are expected, with gusts of up to 45-miles-per- hour possible.

Winds of this velocity are capable of blowing around large unsecure objects and downing trees and power lines, potentially blocking roads and causing power outages.
