According to the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office, at present, Bonner County has declared a disaster emergence for damaged infrastructure, compromised roads and domestic water supply, in the vicinity of Clark Fork, Idaho resulting from flooding within the Lightning Creek/Spring Creek drainages.
Potential flood impacts along the Kootenai River withing Boundary County.
The NWS has issued a flood warning in Lincoln County, Montana for Thursday until 4:30 p.m. due to rising water levels occurring along the Kootenai River and its tributaries.
This could have some downstream impacts to Boundary County. The Kootenai River hydrograph forecasts the Kootenai River reaching minor flood states cresting at 64.58 feet around midnight.
