Cynthia Cummings, a friend to all who meet her, your hometown volleyball coach, wife to Brian, a mom of four and a grandma of three, was recently diagnosed with invasive carcinoma … breast cancer.
Cynthia is her husband’s right-hand woman, assisting him in the behind the scenes workings of Cummings Construction. She homeschools their two youngest children and coaches Bonners High School volleyball.
She will begin a 12-week course of chemotherapy the week of Christmas, and as many of you know, the effects of chemo are not conducive to meal making.
To ease the burden, Mountain Springs Church has set up a Meal Train® account to gracefully relieve Cynthia the need to prepare meals for her family through that season during which there’s no place she’d rather be than in her kitchen.
What a blessing to provide a meal for the Cummings family in the midst of one of the hardest seasons of their lives.
Meal drop-offs are between 5:30 and 6 p.m. daily in the Naples area and participants will be cooking for two adults and two children. Frozen meals would be much appreciated.
Cynthia does not eat dairy, but her family does, and she is grateful to see them enjoy.
