Did you know that Bonners Ferry Family Medicine offers more patient office hours than any other clinic in the county and more than the average across the country? With 59 hours a week to serve your busy lives, as opposed to the average of 40 hours per week, Bonners Ferry Family Medicine opens at 7 a.m. six days a week for acute care, same day visits and scheduled appointments.
No insurance? No problem.
Bonners Ferry Family Medicine offers a sliding fee scale of up to 75% off standard pricing making most office visits less than $100. It’s true! Plus, if you have labs or imaging that need done, they have connections to help save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars in laboratory and radiology fees.
Bonners Ferry Family Medicine is owned and operated by a board certified, family practice physician and not by a giant hospital or big city group. As an independent medical clinic, Bonners Ferry Family Medicine has the freedom to treat you, the patient and not just follow a list of rules by an overreaching mega system.
The importance of affordable and attainable health care is key to Dr. Troy Geyman.
“When my family and I moved to Bonners Ferry, I opened the first community health center in the county that is now called Kaniksu Health Services.” Dr. Geyman says, “It cost just $5 for a person without insurance to see a physician more than 20 years ago. With the rapidly rising costs of nearly everything nationwide, it’s still invaluable to have access to a physician or any other mid-level provider at a reasonable cost. That is why I have gone through the necessary steps to have Bonners Ferry Family Medicine licensed as a rural health clinic. Along with the federal guidelines that need followed and my drive to provide quality and affordable healthcare to every person that walks through the doors, we are able to keep costs low for the community with our sliding fee scale and individualized discounts. But it goes beyond that. The Lord gave me a desire and a solid foundation to serve people and I look forward to serving the community of Boundary County and beyond for many years to come.”
Whether you have a sick child, pediatric concerns, need wellness exams for your family, a DOT medical exam, FAA exam, infant circumcision, diabetic check, geriatric care, fracture care or a host of many other medical procedures and exams, Bonners Ferry Family Medicine can meet you where you are.
Dr. Geyman graduated from Arizona State University with his medical degree in 1996. After more than 20,000 training hours including a four-year undergraduate degree, four years of medical school and three years in residency, he received his doctorate in medicine and began his journey to serving others as a family practice physician.

I absolutely love Dr. Geyman and his staff.
Sometimes you need to have patience when you’re a patient. They want to help everyone with the care people deserve.
But your time to go back to see one of the Doctors will come and sometimes early, on time or a little behind.
Thank you our Father in Heaven for bring us Dr. Geyman & staff.
I am the 2nd patient Dr. Geyman ever tended to when he moved here. I will continue on going!
