Sneak peek at 9B biz directory, time running out on early bird special

By Katie Banning & Mike Weland

We’re off to a slow but steady start with our 9B.News “Where do I find it in Bonners Ferry?” business directory, going online January 1, and we sincerely appreciate those who came aboard early and helped us work through the early glitches. We invite those who gave up in frustration to try again.

We encourage all Boundary County business owners thinking about posting their listing to take advantage of the benefits of getting aboard early; locking in the amazing $40 a year price for as long as your ad runs continuously, the ability to recommend categories that best describe your business and, as ads are placed as they come in, the highest and best ad placement.

When the “Where do I find it in Bonners Ferry?” business directory goes online at 12 a.m. Thursday, the price goes up to $50 per year, and the price isn’t locked in.

Despite the many glitches (I now think it’s safe to say doing your own computer development is no different than taking on your own plumbing repairs. It can be done, but no matter how well prepared you are, it’s going to entail at least a dozen trips for parts … each trip more expensive than the one before), we think the directory looks good and will be boon to all participating businesses.

Thanks to some very patient tech support folk, we think our business directory will fill a need in the Boundary County business community, effectively and affordably, connecting your business with what you do so our readers can find what they need when they need it.
