
Badgers Basketball made the 260-mile round trip trek to Reardan, Washington twice this week to take part in the Lion’s Club’s 79th annual Reardan Christmas Tournament at Reardan High School.

The 2B Reardan High School Screaming Eagles girls hosted the 2B Lake Roosevelt Raiders, the 1A Lakeside Knights and your own 4A Bonners Ferry Badgers.
The Reardan boys, hosted the 3A Peninsula Gig Harbor Seahawks and the 4A Bonners Ferry Badgers.

The Badger boys Varsity and Junior Varsity along with the girls Varsity team all won their first games of the tournament and moved along to the championship games in each bracket.

Your Lady Badgers were victorious tonight winning 55-50 over the Reardan Screaming Eagles and are bringing home the tournament championship. The Ladies are now 6-5 on the season.
Though a tough fight, the boys Varsity lost 53-75 against the Screaming Eagles bringing them to 4-4 on the season and second place in the tournament.
The Badgers’ Junior Varsity team fought well but sadly fell 66-39.
The Badger boys Varsity is coached by Greg Kissee, JV by Shane Banning and assistant coaches Jesse Banning and Brion Poston.
The Lady Badgers are coached by Tomi Bateman and assistant coach Jed Bateman.
The Lady Badgers will play next at Lakeside High School at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7 and the boys C Team, JV and Varsity teams will play at Lewiston Senior High School beginning at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026.
