The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a winter weather advisory for mixed precipitation and snow, in effect for an area including Boundary County, in effect from 4 p.m. today until 1 p.m. Friday.
From one to four inches of snow is expected north of Sandpoint, topped with about a tenth of an inch of ice south of Sandpoint as light snow tonight is expected to change to a wintry mix Friday morning.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.
