The Montana Tech Orediggers took the road tonight to windy North Dakota to take on the Bismark State Mystics.
Why does 9B.News care about a Montana and North Dakota game you ask?
Well, because Bonners Ferry own Asher Williams hails as an Oredigger!
In his second high scoring game of his college career, freshman, Asher Williams, though he was not in the starting lineup, was high scorer against the Mystics with 22 in 18 minutes of playing time.
He was also high scorer for the Orediggers against the Montana Grizzlies on December 17.
Asher’s points for the Orediggers were 5 two-point shots, 3 of 4 from the three-point line, and 3 for 3 free throws for a total of 22.
The Orediggers defeated the Mystics 90-68.
He’s on fire, ladies and gentlemen!
Asher and the rest of the Montana Tech Orediggers will play tomorrow, January 3 at Dickinson State also in North Dakota at 7 p.m. local time.
