Welcome to 2026 and the next season of Winter Leagues.
Our soft launch into the season began last week with the Spokesman-Review, which left Bonners Ferry in 8th place in the Division. Top scorers were Ron Campbell with a 23, Donald Donoho with 23, Dustin Myers with 23, and Mike Pruitt with a 22.
The women are in 7th place, with only 3 scores submitted last week. Amanda Myers took it with a 23, followed by Kristie Campbell at 21 and Randi Hibbard with 15.
The Duke’s Claybusters sit in 6th position after the Spokesman opener. Top scorers for the 1st week were Trenton Myers and Judah Roffler with a 23, Gage Kunsky scoring 21, and Erik Aos with an 18.
This weekend, we had 26 shooters for the opening of the Camas Prairie Trap Shooting Association (CPA) Winter Leagues and the Bonners Ferry Handicap, running concurrently.Top scores in the 25-bird CPA league included Ron Campbell with a 23, and Amanda Myers, Gage Kunsky, Trenton Myers, and Robert Olson each with a 22. Additional 25-bird shooters included Melanie Campbell and Joe Campbell, each with 21, Bill Bustillos, Matt Noble and Kelsey Noble, 20, Steve Moseley, 17, and Justin Smith, 15.
For the BFGC Hdcp (50 birds), Ron won Class A with a 46, and Mike Pruitt took Class B. The rest of the scores were: Amanda Myers 39, Kristie Campbell 38, Dustin Myers and Mike Pruitt 37, Dean Nelson 34, and Donald Donoho and Dennis Smith 31.
Duke’s Clalybusters top scorers out of 25 were Gage, Trenton, and Robert with a score of 22. Gage won the week on the countback. The rest of the scores were: Judah Roffler and Jar Kunsky 19, Randi Hibbard and Erik Aos 17, Mason Bryant and Aaron Michelsen 16, Gus Christiansen and Zander Moseley 13, and Milo Slevin 9.
