The Idaho Governor’s Office of Species Conservation (OSC) has funding available to implement preventative measures aimed at reducing wolf and grizzly bear conflict. Proposals will be accepted through March 1.
Proposals received during this period will be reviewed and initial award decisions will be made by April of 2026. Proposals submitted outside this period will be considered on a case-by-case basis, based on available funds.

Eligible expenses:
- Electric fencing
- Visuals such as fladry and fox lights
- Range riders, increased human presence
- Secure storage of attractants
- Other proven non-lethal prevention measures

Increase wolf control board funding to to organizations that reduce wolf numbers and have been for 13 years.
Instead of spending laundered tax money, now about just kicking the feds out and opening up hunting. Bears and wolves are smart predators and won’t hang out where they are obviously threatened by a better predator.
