Woodward, Sauter set town hall schedule

With the commencement of the 2026 Idaho legislative session January 12, District 1 lawmakers announced a series of town halls in Bonner and Boundary counties. Senator Jim Woodward, R-Sagle, and 1A Representative Mark Sauter, R-Sandpoint, will gather with citizens on the last Saturday of the month through March.

The first town hall is scheduled from 9 to 10 :3 0 a.m. Saturday, January 31, at the Bonners Ferry Visitors Center, 6373 Bonner Street, and from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 S. First Avenue, and from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the West Bonner Library, 118 Main Street, Priest River.

Subsequent town halls will be held February 28 and March 28, with times and locations to be determined.
