Thompson Falls, Montana was the destination for your Bonners Ferry High School wrestlers this weekend. The Ted Kato Memorial Wrestling Tournament formerly known as the Thompson Falls Invitational hosted 12 teams from around the Northwest and the Badgers were near the front of the line.

Leading the charge for the boys were Taylor Dodd and Gaige Johnson taking first place in their weight classes.
Eivind Falck and Ethan Matthews both took 3rd place while Aiden Dodd and Rocky Monroe both placed 4th.
The Badger boys placed 5th overall.
For the Lady Badgers, Kylie Calderone and Aubrey Graves both went 4-0 and dominated their weight classes by pinning all of their opponents and taking home the gold. There were 11 schools represented for lady wrestling.
The Badger girls placed 4th overall.
Bonners Ferry Wrestling Club member Dalton Regehr earned himself some mat time this weekend, as he wrestled in the 7th Annual Legacy Duals and Invitational in Boise, Idaho.
On Friday he joined a dual team of wrestlers from around Southern Idaho finishing 4-1 in the dual tournament and continued on Saturday in the invitational portion of the tournament to go 5-0 and landed himself at the top of the podium. Dalton went 9-1 for the weekend.
The Badgers will host Kellogg High School on Tuesday, January 27 at 5 p.m. for another home dual.
It was altogether a successful weekend for Badger wrestling. Nice work and go Badgers!
