The Chukars are sure lucky to have had Brody Rice and Thomas Bateman on their roster last week as they narrowly escaped defeat by three points and squeaked out an 86-83 win against the Wenatchee Valley Knights on Saturday. Brody sunk a total of 9 points in 31 minutes and Thomas 8 in 27 minutes.
Brody and Thomas continue to climb the ladder of success at the college level. Brody has started 9 of 15 games his freshman year averaging 4.7 points per game and Thomas, although not yet a starter has appeared in 19 games with an average of 4.3 points per game.
The Chukars will appear next on their home court at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon on Saturday, February 7 at noon, MST and will travel to Spokane Falls Community College on February 14 at noon PST to take on the SCFF Sasquatches.
Way to go, gentlemen!
