Joseph Robert Morelli, 92, passed away peacefully at his home at Dodge Peak Lodge on February 10, 2026, with his family at his side. Joe was born on March 12, 1933, in Bronx, New York, the son of Joseph and Jenny Bari Morelli and father to Kim (Dirk) Van der Kolk.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy of 53 years, his two sons, Joseph A. Morelli and John Morelli and his two grandsons, Jeremy Forbes and Joshua Forbes.
Memorial Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 15, at the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home and he will be laid to rest at the Coeur d’Alene Memorial Garden in the spring.
