“They took on the challenge and they won!” Tom said, “I wanted to inspire and I was happy to lose this challenge. The employees took the bull by the horns, and they came out on top.”
The challenge was this – If all the cashiers would continue doing the customer surveys to increase the customer satisfaction and continue to hold their lead in the entire Seattle division, then Tom would have to come to work dressed up in a pink tutu, with a crown on his head and a wand in his hand. He would then perform a ballet dance for all the employees and customers to see.
And that he did! Tom fulfilled his end of the deal and at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Tom performed a little dance for the staff and employees at the Bonners Ferry Safeway store.
But wait, there’s more!
Tom went one step further. He agreed that if the employees in the Bonners Ferry store continued to keep the lead in the Seattle division and win for the year, he would take ballet lessons from Hannah Ainley and perform at the May 9 performance at the Rex Theater 7222 Main Street in downtown Bonners Ferry.
With the anticipation of the win, Hannah has already begun the creation of an original ballet staring, the one and only, Tom!
Tickets will be available at the door at the Rex Theater for the 1 p.m. matinée performance and soon available on-line for pre-order.
