BoCo Backpacks can’t do what they do without volunteers, and this month’s Faces of BoCo Backpacks Volunteer award goes to Steve Hawks! Rain, snow, sleet, or shine, Steve picks up our food kits each month from the Bonner County Foodbank, delivers them to BCMS where our storage space is located, and helps BCMS leadership students download these kits for distribution as needed.
We can’t thank Steve enough for donating his time, gas money, mileage and expertise to make sure BoCo Backpacks has the kits on hand to serve kids in our community who need this service. If you see Steve Hawks around, please congratulate him on being our February “Faces of BoCo Backpacks!”
