Boundary County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a firearm stolen from a vehicle on Westwood Drive, Moyie Springs, at about 12:42 p.m. today.
The handgun, valued at about $500, was allegedly taken from an unlocked silver 2020 Toyota Highlander, and the suspect remains at large.
Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area can make a report by calling sheriff’s dispatch at (208) 267-3151, and all county residents are reminded to keep firearms in your vehicles out of sight of someone looking in and to keep the vehicle locked any time you are away.
A description of the firearm would be a good start for us to look for it. Serial#, nomenclature etc…………
