Jeff and Rhonda Jones, originally from the great state of Georgia but now hailing as Bonners Ferrians, have successfully taken and passed the Idaho state and federal real estate brokers exams and are now Associate Brokers with Coldwell Banker North Woods Realty, where they have been sales associates since 2020 and 2021 respectively.
But wait, there’s more! Jeff also received the Coldwell Banker International Sterling Society Award for the second time!
The Coldwell Banker International Sterling Society award is a prestigious honor recognizing top-performing sales associates and teams within the Coldwell Banker network worldwide. Achieving this indicates the recipient ranked within the top 11% to 25% of all Coldwell Banker sales professionals globally based on closed sales volume or production. It honors high achievement, excellence, and dedication in real estate, highlighting professionals who have provided exceptional service to clients throughout the year.
Jeff was originally a fisheries biologist and deeply involved in research with the State of Georgia for 22 years. For a short time, his biology career took him to the wilds of Alaska, where he and his family lived on an otherwise uninhabited remote island in Southeast Alaska at a salmon hatchery.
After taking short term mission teams to remote locations in Southeast Alaska in the early 1990s, Jeff and Rhonda ended up spending ten years full time in the mission field on Prince of Wales Island. There Jeff pastored a small Christian and Missionary Alliance church and arranged for teams from all over the United States and other countries to come and help build the first and only church building and Christian camp in Hollis, Alaska, on Prince of Wales Island.
In 2011 the Jones family purchased land in Idaho while still residing in Alaska and moved to Idaho in 2013. Because of a connection in Alaska, they became the Blaze King wood stove dealers in town.
For about five years, they had a shop on Kootenai Street in downtown Bonners Ferry and they are still the Blaze King dealers in Idaho.
For several years Jeff and Rhonda went back and forth from Idaho to Prince of Wales, where they helped small churches and also worked for Alaska Power performing an Island-wide meter audit.
“We treat real estate as a mission,” Rhonda says, “It is our hope to help people buy and sell but this is also a family affair. Our son, Canaan, joined us in 2021 and together we make up Team Jones Properties under Eden Acres, LLC.”
The Jones are brokered by Coldwell Banker North Woods Realty, and their Designated Broker is C.J. Tuma.
