Bonners Ferry Gun Club finishes season with champions

Although the competition in the 108th Spokesman-Review Trapshoot is over, final results weren’t in by the end of the weekend. Final standings will be reported next week.

Bonners Ferry Gun Club submitted the following Champions for the 2026 Spokesman Review Trapshoot season:

In Week 8 of the Camas Prairie Leagues, the weather indicated Spring is in the air. Temperatures were mid-40s with sun and wind. The snow from the previous week had completely melted off the range. Twenty-eight participants joined us this week. Ron Campbell and Joe Campbell each got a perfect score of 25/25. The third score submitted was Trenton Myers with 24, again giving Bonners Ferry a score of 74/75.

Duke’s Clalybusters continued to hold 3rd place in the Region, gaining another point on the 2nd-place team of St. Maries and tying Hermiston’s weekly score with 72. Individual scores submitted for Week 8 were: Joe Campbell with 25, Trenton Myers with 24, Randi Hibbard with 23, Gage Kunsky and Mason Bryant with 22, Judah Roffler and Robert Olson with 20, Aaron Michelsen and Milo Slevin with 19, Gus Christensen with 18, Zander Moseley with 17, Erik Aos with 15, and Jar Kunsky with 7.

The Camas Prairie Trapshooting Association also released the list of All-Star Contenders for the 2026 season. These individuals will face off at the Camas Prairie Handicap in Walla Walla, WA, later in March.

Finally, in the Bonners Ferry Gun Club Handicap, Ron Campbell took A Class with a score of 48. Donald Donoho took B class on the countback. Week 8 scores were: Ron Campbell 48, Dustin Myers 44, Dean Nelson 43, Mike Pruitt and Donald Donoho 41, and Gene Frederickson, Amanda Myers, and Kristie Campbell 36.
