The Boundary Community Hospital Auxiliary will host its annual pie sale from 9 a.m. Thursday, March 12, until there ain’t no more pie, a sad state of affairs that happens when they’re all sold out, typically around noon.
The sale will take place at the VFW Hall, 6635 Lincoln Street, Bonners Ferry.
The Pie Sale is the Auxiliary’s largest fundraiser of the year, supporting projects and needs that benefit patients, residents and staff at Boundary Community Hospital. Each year, the event is made possible by the incredible generosity of local bakers who donate the best homemade pies and desserts you’ll find anywhere in the world, and by the community members who show up early to take home a favorite treat.
“This fundraiser is such a special tradition because it is truly community-powered,” said Danielle Larsson, BCH Auxiliary Liaison. “The homemade desserts are outstanding, and the support directly helps us give back to the hospital in meaningful ways.”
Dessert Donations Welcome!
Community members who would like to donate a pie or dessert can drop off their items at 8 a.m. the day of the sale at the VFW Hall. Homemade desserts of all kinds are welcome and appreciated.
