Boundary County Detectives, with support from the patrol division, conducted a joint operation with the United States Marshals Service Tuesday in the Moyie Springs area.
John Harvey Yoder, born in 1978, was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued out of Lewis and Clark County, Montana. He was wanted for numerous charges including burglary, assault on a family member, two counts of felony assault on a peace 0fficer, and resisting arrest. Harvey, also has previous arrests in Montana for possession and distribution of dangerous drugs.
The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the United States Marshal Service, for their hard work in helping our team bring Harvey to justice. The Sheriff’s Office is committed to ensuring that Boundary County remains a safe place to live, work and play.
The Sheriff’s Office has a simple message for anyone who breaks the law and who thinks they can hide in our community. You’re wrong, we will find you and you will be brought to justice.
