The latest edition of the 9B.News Boundary County Voter’s Guide is now online, more than 80 snail-mail letters sent requesting a each candidate who will be on a Boundary County ballot to provide us a candidate photo and a written biography of up to 1,000 words to inform you, our readers, a glimpse of who they are, why they are running for public office, their qualifications and, if elected, what their constituents can expect of them.
The words are their own, edited only for style and clarity, each on its own page and arranged sequentially as they come in to allow easy comparison of the candidates in each contested race.
In addition, the voter’s guide offers important election dates, polling sites for the county’s six precincts and more, and it will continue to be updated right through primary election day on Tuesday, May 19, when we’ll stay up to bring our readers election results as they are released after the polls close at 8 p.m.
