Former CDA Realtor takes plea deal in L & L case with Boundary County minor

Former Coeur d’Alene Realtor Scott D. Smith was taken into custody in November on Boundary County charges of lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor under 16 and three counts of rape dating back a dozen years.

Yesterday he pled guilty to lewd conduct with a minor under 16 and one count of rape – victim is 16 or 17 years old and the perpetrator is three years or more older than the victim.

Scott will be sentenced in Boundary County at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, where he faces up to 20 years in prison.

According to Boundary County Sheriff Travis Stolley, Smith, born in 1976, was taken into custody following the execution of a Boundary County arrest warrant obtained by detectives Brandon Blackmore and Nick Delavan.

This arrest stems from an ongoing investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct involving oral sex with a 13 -year-old boy beginning about January 1, 2013, and continuing into 2014.
