A Moyie Springs man is free on $10,000 bond after being charged with indecent exposure March 17 for allegedly exposing his genitals to a woman walking home from a trip to the Moyie Store.
Boundary County Sheriff’s Deputy Tony Jeppesen responded to the call and learned that the victim had gone to the store between 10:30 and 11 a.m. and was walking by the residence to the west of the store when she saw an older man wearing blue jeans and no shirt come out of the garage.
She said she was paying attention to her phone when he called out to her, and looking up, she noticed his pants were unzipped and his genitalia exposed.
Jeppesen next interviewed Bruce Vineyard, born in 1959, who denied the allegations, but the victim filled out a citizen’s arrest statesmen and Vineyard was taken into custody on a charge of indecent exposure, a misdemeanor.
He pled not guilty and requested a jury trial, which is scheduled to be held before Judge Justin Julian at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 19.
