Keenan Maas, a member of the Bonners Ferry High School Class of 2026, officially committed this week to continue his football career and his education at Bismarck State College in Bismarck, North Dakota.
“I’m so very proud of Keenan for all his hard work and dedication to go to the next level of football.” His mom, Kendra says, “It has been his dream to play college football and he reached it. Now he has bigger dreams, and I know he’ll reach those as well.”

To become a college athlete is a dream many hold onto, but few ever realize. For this young man, that dream has finally become reality, and the journey ahead promises to exceed anything he ever imagined.
Bismarck State College competes in 17 intercollegiate varsity sports, including baseball, basketball, cross country, rodeo, track and field, and wrestling. After more than four decades away from the gridiron, men’s football is returning, and the 2027 season is sure to be one for the books: especially with Keenan Maas on the roster.
“I am very proud of the work Keenan has put in to get to this point.” Bonners Ferry High School head coach, Danny Swift says, “I know he will represent our community and Badger football well. I can’t wait to watch him play at the next level.”
