Alan Lee Branson, Bonners Ferry, born 1966, Boundary County Sheriff, March 23, 2026, charged with Driving Under the Influence, a misdemeanor, pled guilty (no plea agreement), sentenced to 60 days in jail with 55 days suspended, driver’s license suspended for 90 days and unsupervised probation for 364 days, and Alcoholic Beverage – Consume or Possess Open Container by Driver, a misdemeanor, dismissed by motion of the prosecutor, fines $297.50 and costs of $202.50.

Maygen M. Fischer, Moyie Springs, born 2002, Boundary County Sheriff, March 23, 2026, charged with Maintaining a Dangerous or at Risk Dog – 1st Offense, a misdemeanor, dismissed on motion of the prosecutor.

Joseph William Kendra, Bonners Ferry, born 1989, Bonners Ferry Police Department, March 23, 2026, charged with Driving Under the Influence – 2nd Offense, a misdemeanor, amended to Driving Under the Influence, pled guilty (plea agreement), sentenced to 60 days in jail with 56 days suspended and two days cred time served, driver’s license suspended for 90 days and unsupervised probation for 364 days, fines $297.50 and costs $202.50.

Paul Martin Peaver, Libby, born 1965, Port of Entry – Idaho, March 24, 2026, charged with Motor Carrier – Over Weight (4001 pounds and over) – Exceed Allowable Gross Loads, a misdemeanor, dismissed on motion of prosecutor.
