Some of you may remember Rick and Beverly Cruz. They were cherished members of this community from 2010 – 2014. Rick and Beverly worked with and mentored many people in the short time they were in Boundary County and now, they need our help. Beverly broke her wrist and had surgery at the end of July and then Rick had a major fall and broke his hip socket on August 5.

With six children total and four still at home and one requiring full care, Rick not working is going to be a significant strain on the family financially. He is expected to be out of work for six to eight weeks.
“With four children at home, the bills, groceries, and daily needs will keep coming whether we’re ready or not.” Beverly says, “We are trusting God completely, but we also know that sometimes His provision comes through the love and generosity of His people.
We are holding on to Isaiah 41:10:
“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
We’ve started a GoFundMe to help cover:
- Rent & utilities
- Groceries for our family
- Gas for medical appointments
- Medical costs not covered by insurance
If we have ever prayed for you, encouraged you, served alongside you, or simply shared life with you — we now humbly ask that you consider standing with us in this season. Whether through financial help, sharing this post, or lifting us in prayer, your love will be felt deeply.”
