County P&Z to hear two conditional use applications

The Boundary County Planning and Zoning Commission will hear and accept comment on conditional use permit applications seeking to establish a business retreat on McArthur Lake Road and a wood products manufacturing plant off Enterprise Way when they meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, January 26, at the Boundary County Annex, 6566 Main Street, Bonners Ferry.

Essential Oil Research Farm, LLC, is seeking to establish a recreational hospitality use to allow week-long business retreats for up to 45 people and single day events for up to 200 people on two parcels totaling 50.05 acres, zoned agriculture forestry, at 5060 McArthur Lake Road. Schrock Revocable Inter Vivos Trust is seeking to expand an existing wood products manufacturing business to 21,000 square feet on a 2.15 acre parcel zoned commercial/light industrial located on Enterprise Way near Boundary County Road and Bridge. Additional information can be found here.
